Mitchell Hines is a 20 year old junior at the University of Northern Iowa.  Stationed in Cedar Falls but originally from Center Point, Iowa, Mitchell started playing guitar in February of 2005 and has been writing songs ever since.  He is currently recording his first album entitled "Where You Are" at Orchard Hill church in Cedar Falls.  Mitchell has sung in choirs through high school and most recently has been involved in UNI Singers and the Varsity Men's Glee Club for two years each.  He also leads worship for Campus Crusade for Christ on the UNI campus, occasionally leads worship in Cedar Rapids at the Mission of Hope church, plays in the band and hopes to lead at Orchard Hill church, and plays concerts at venues such as The Lampost Theatre Co. in Cedar Falls, The Verde Cafe in Cedar Falls, and Holy Grounds Coffeehouse in Waverly, IA.  It is his hope and prayer that the words and music that God has given to him may touch people so that they may come to know Him and in turn let their light shine!
